Our Mission
Las Vegas Women’s Hockey Alliance is a women-founded non-profit organization dedicated to growing and strengthening women’s hockey in Las Vegas and throughout Southern Nevada. Our mission is to create an inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment where women of all ages and skill levels can learn the game, develop their abilities, build confidence, and foster lasting connections through hockey.
We believe hockey should be accessible, welcoming, and community-driven. Whether someone is stepping onto the ice for the first time or continuing to advance their game, we strive to provide a safe space where players can practice, compete, and grow alongside one another while celebrating the unique camaraderie that women’s hockey brings.
Beyond the rink, we are committed to supporting and uplifting the local women’s hockey community through scholarships, equipment drives and donations, fundraising initiatives for women in need, and programs designed to expand opportunities for participation in the sport. By investing in players, creating pathways for development, and building meaningful community connections, we aim to help women’s hockey thrive in Las Vegas for generations to come.
